Bucket List Adventures // Ice Castle
Our bucket list adventures continue. Last night we checked off another item on our list when we visited (and played like two small children) in a giant "Frozen-like" ice castle!
It is hard to describe the sheer size of the castle, and how incredible it truly is. The photos only do it limited justice. Colored lights like those you see in blue to the left lit up much of the structure. In the photo to the right, while it looks frozen, that is actually a gushing waterfall of sorts streaming down from the top.
Ryan found a chair and insisted upon a "king in the castle" shot. I will admit, he pulled it off pretty well. Meanwhile, I had fun sneaking in and out of a miniature ice tunnel that was made for small folk like me.
As we didn't already feel like we had been transplanted into a Disney film, a photo op with Olaf was the "ice" - ing on the cake.
Feel free to visit the Ice Castles website to learn more about how they are made and to see if there is one near your area.
